So obviously this post isn’t my usual book related post, but it’s my blog & I’m going to do it anyway 🙂
I’ve been researching ways to make more money. We desperately need a new-to-us vehicle – one is 18 years old & the other 20 – and both are quite literally, falling apart with rot (New England winters, anyone?) Because of, well, both my day jobs, really, I can’t really get a third job – which technically would be a forth job, or depending on how you look at it, a fifth job… (I work in retail, I teach knitting & crochet, I’m a knit/crochet designer, I play flute with the local band, not to mention blogging, though that’s hard to consider a job since I currently don’t make enough off of the blog to even pay my hosting bill).
So, in no particular order, side hustle jobs & my current experiences/thoughts
- Rover – I’m in the process of signing up with them. It’s a dog walking / dog sitting app. You have to apply, and I’ve heard very very good things about them, both from the point of view of the sitters & the dog owners. I live in a rural area, so I don’t really expect to make much money, but I LOVE dogs and I’m super excited about this one
- Virtual assistant – I’m the process of setting myself up to be a VA specializing in Pinterest. I’m currently revamping/cleaning up/editing my boards, and planning on offering my services in a variety of places, including Fiverr and Upwork. I’m also officially accepting tech editing jobs for crochet, which I haven’t done in a few years.
- I signed up to do mystery shopping again, which I haven’t done since before I got married! I am working with Second to None and Bestmark (though I’m not sure I’m going to actually work with them, as it seems to be all auto related which I’m really not interested in)
- I’m doing surveys/sharing my opinion: OpinionOutpost and Springboard America
What about you? What do you do to make some extra, easy cash?
