I’ve signed up for COYER a few times but I never have much luck in actually reading much of anything. I’m drafting up a bit of a list to see if that helps me any.
I’ve been actually working to clean up on my books through my amazon account – a lot of expired library books are sitting there, along with books I’ve already read and it makes it harder to find the books I do want to read with them in there. I used to also “buy” free books regardless of genre thinking that it would be nice to read something different but the older I get, the more I realized I don’t want to get outside my comfort zones when it comes to books; my favorite genres are that for a reason.
So I’m working on deleting all of those thrillers / mysteries / romances I once thought I’d read. And there’s a lot of books that sounded good at first, but after rereading the description they aren’t what I once thought they were, so those are getting deleted too. I have a lot of book 2’s and book 3’s in the series, those are getting deleted. After all the deletions are done, it’ll be much easier to actually find books I want to read! What a concept!
- Hearts that Survive (a freebie from ?)
- Roanoke (another freebie from ?)
- To the Rescue (“bought” for free in 1/2011)
- Angel of Death Row (ditto)
- History in Blue (ditto)
I have some review books to add to the list, but for now, at least that’s a start. Let the reading begin! My plans are to be pretty quiet on the blog from now until the new year, to spend time with family and friends, to catch up on reading and reviews, and to take time off from being online.
