Hey guys! How has your week been so far? Ready for Thanksgiving, my fellow Americans? I work in retail, so I’m hating this week… Black Friday! I’ve worked in retail for years, so I know what I’m in for! Please, if you go shopping this week, do me a favor and be nice to your salesgirl/cashier, will you? Please? And remember, it’s not the salesgirl’s fault that the store is out of whatever….
You probably noticed the graphic I’m using – I’m going to try to start semi-regularly participating in this feature/meme. I’m hoping if I regularly participate, it’ll force me to get a little more organized with the books I’m accepting to review, and read more review books and less “personal” books. We’ll see how I do.
I’m currently cranking on finishing A Breath of Snow and Ashes – I’m at about 85% done, but as the book is about 1500 or so pages, I am still a long ways off. I am getting a cold (again) so I’m hoping to finish the book tonight, and work on Czar Nicholas.
I reviewed two books: Zombie Fallout and No Port to Land.
Books I’ve received this week:
Obsidian (A Lux Novel Book 1)
Checkout: My Life on the Tills (and already reviewed!)
Love in Every Stitch: Stories of Knitting and Healing by Lee Gant
From the Author:
Loss of Reason (currently free on amazon)
The Mine (currently 99 cents on amazon)
Magic Kingdom for Sale! Sold! by Terry Brooks
Czar Nicholas, The Toad, and Duck Soup
IT’s Monday – what are you reading?
